Since 1942, the Clarks have developed a reputation as one of the premier builders of quality homes in the Memphis area. The family tradition began when John C. Clark, Jr. began building homes. Following suit, his two sons, John and Chuck, entered the homebuilding business in 1971. At age 12, David began sweeping out houses they were building and learned the family business. He graduated from Houston High School and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama where he earned a degree in Business Management and a minor in Computer Science. Shortly after graduation, David began working as a superintendent for Clark Homes full time. After working there for a few years, David started his own company to become the third generation of Clarks to enter the business. David and his wife, Laura, reside in Collierville with their daughter Lydia.
